Say No to Wasted Energy.

A freeing new way to take climate action
Climate action is too hard. Too overwhelming, it involves too many personal sacrifices. You have to give up the things you love.
We wanted to make climate action less of a burden for New Zealanders. ‘Say no to wasted energy’ encourages people to give up not the stuff they love, but the stuff they don’t love, in order to save energy.
This flips the narrative. It’s effortless. A win for the individual and for the planet – finally putting them in alignment, not opposition. It challenges New Zealanders to ask themselves: What are the things you feel socially obliged to do, but which you’d really rather not? Is it commuting into the office every day to ‘show up’ when you’re actually more productive from home? Or do you drive around all weekend to activities you’d secretly rather skip?
Whatever you choose to ‘say no’ to, you’ll save precious energy – yours and the planet’s.
